Hi, I’m Rahul Raj, a digital marketer and Google Ads professional based in Manchester, UK, originally from Kottayam, Kerala. I’m also the co-founder of Mogex Ads, where I help businesses grow and succeed through tailored digital marketing strategies.

My Journey 

My journey into the digital marketing world wasn’t linear. In 2018, I graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering, but I quickly realized it wasn’t the path I was meant to follow. Deep down, I always knew I was more drawn to the world of IT and technology. So, I made the decision to learn new skills, diving into Core Java, C++, and Android development. Along the way, I discovered something that would change my life—digital marketing. While researching online for a laptop, I was blown away by the power of targeted ads. That curiosity led me to explore this field and eventually apply for an internship at a startup, where my background in editing and posting TikTok videos unexpectedly landed me the role. That moment felt like a sign, and I soon realized that digital marketing wasn’t just a passing interest—it was my true calling. This realization led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Digital Marketing at the University of Salford in Manchester, where I honed my skills and deepened my knowledge. But I didn’t want my learning to stop there. After graduating, I joined CDA Academy, an agency-based digital marketing training provider, to gain even more hands-on experience. Through this program, I worked on real client projects, explored multiple aspects of agency life, and strengthened my practical skills. I then secured an internship at Quadcubes, a digital marketing agency, where I had the opportunity to work on live campaigns and get a real feel for agency operations. My journey continued with an exciting opportunity at T.E.N UK, where I currently work as a Content Creator, crafting meaningful content and helping brands tell their stories effectively.

My Professional Experience 

While studying in the UK, I had to balance my education with part-time jobs. I worked at Domino’s to cover living expenses, even though I had no fast-food experience. But the manager saw potential in me and gave me a chance. I quickly learned essential skills like teamwork, problem-solving, adaptability, and communication—skills that shaped my professional approach.

Later, I had the opportunity to interview for KFC, a company I admired. Although they needed someone full-time, my interview left a lasting impression on the manager. She said, “You can make a difference in our store,” and that motivation pushed me to give my best every day. I earned several awards and promotions during my time there, including the Service Shout-Out Award, and I eventually became a Guest Experience Leader.

These experiences, though outside the marketing field, helped build the foundation of my work ethic and professional mindset—qualities that now guide me in the digital marketing world.

As a digital marketing expert, I specialize in Google Ads, SEO, content marketing, and WordPress management. I help businesses thrive by implementing data-driven marketing strategies and transparent reporting, ensuring that every decision leads to measurable growth. I’ve always been driven by the desire to make a difference and give my 100% in everything I do. Whether in a fast food job or a digital marketing campaign, I believe in working hard, adapting quickly, and helping others succeed. I’m passionate about continuous learning, staying updated with industry trends, and crafting strategies that deliver real results. I’m excited to continue this journey and look forward to connecting with like-minded professionals and businesses looking to grow in the digital space.
